The School is seeking staff to provide teaching and research activities in the field of International Relations. The appointment committee define the field broadly, and are prepared to consider strong applications from scholars working in the areas of International Relations, Asian politics, development studies and international history. The School has particular teaching needs in International Political Economy and International Relations theory. The applicant will be expected to offer between three to four modules per year, and to be actively engaged in academic research, publication and dissemination. As PHIR is a new school, the successful applicant will be required to play an active role in building the school, not simply offering courses at UG and PG level but also taking the lead in developing new areas of activity when required, and contributing to school, faculty and campus-wide activities in such areas as marketing, recruitment, internships and executive education. - Experience in Oracle Discoverer and XML Publisher will be advantage

3. IT infrastructure – Assistant Manager (Mid-Level)
- Manage Information Technology department and computer systems

- Monitor and maintain IT Security, IP Address, backups, rights management
- Control IT budget and expenditures
- Ensure users are equipped adequately with hardware and software
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, E-mail servers and WAN/LAN/Telephony network

- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in IT Engineering

Nutritional Biochemist or Molecular Nutritionist

An academic position as Assistant/Associate Professor based in the School of Biosciences at the Malaysia Campus is available in the area of Nutritional Biochemistry and/or Molecular Nutrition.

Candidates must have a strong background in nutritional biochemistry and/or molecular nutrition and will be expected to offer experience of teaching and research in molecular nutrition, mammalian biochemistry and the biochemistry of development. Some knowledge of immunology and mammalian physiology would be desirable.

The research in the School is multi-disciplinary and includes aspects of nutritional and environmental sciences, biotechnology, plant and crop sciences. Candidates should have a PhD and a proven track record of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They should also have a recent record of research publications, and will be expected to develop research collaborations with existing University research teams at any of our campuses and with external organisations.
