BARGE ENGINEER
Key Responsibilities
As a Drill Rig Barge Engineer you will head up the marine section
whilst assisting the OIM with the daily operation of the drilling rig. Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to: Responsible for the health, safety & welfare of all personnel under your management. Oversee all Marine matters related to the operations of the rig – navigation, anchor handling, stability, loading/unloading, weight distribution & relevant maintenance work. Responsible for planning all lifting operations.
Keep accurate records of all hazardous products. Offer assistance to the OIM with management related tasks. Ensure strict implementation of the Permit to Work (PTW) system while the OIM is off duty. Our company is a subsidiary of A.P Moller – Maersk Group working internationally in the fields of shipping, oil and gas exploration, drilling and production. As part of our desire to strengthen our health and safety culture and our commitment to the environment, we are seeking a highly motivated QMHSE Coordinator to Join us in our Malaysia office.

You will be based in Kuala Lumpur but should be prepared to travel if necessary. Your primary responsibility is to assist the offshore Jack-up Operations Manager in his management of all daily QMHSE matters. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the requirements of our QMHSE Management System are adhered to, and that initiatives are taken to prepare, issue and maintain the Management System when required. Further you are required to attend QMHSE related meetings with customers and support improvement in our QMHSE performance. You will report directly to the Malaysia office’s Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualities and capabilities as a minimum.
– Possess a Degree or Diploma of any discipline.
– You need to have a solid knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to offshore drilling rig activities and control of work activities.
– You have hands on experience with QMHSE management in offshore activities. Conversant with International Management Systems, such as ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISPS guideline.
– Have a methodical, systematic and analytical work style.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

PRINCIPAL DRIWNG ENGINEER
Implement drilling engineering expertise to assist the drilling and completion engineers in their well planning work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead drilling and completion Field Development planning activities.
– Responsible for implementing, maintaining and optimizing the technical control framework for all drilling and completion activities.
– Responsible for building good relationships with “customers”, in order to properly understand their requirements and respond with well-developed proposals and options to help them select the most appropriate solution.
– Key organizational interfaces are with Subsurface, Projects and Operations.
Job Requirements:
– Education preferably at degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
– Minimum of 15 years operational and engineering experience within drilling and completions, of which at least 5 years in a senior engineering position.
– Preferably experience with Jack Up, Semi-submersible, ERD and HPHT, H2S.
– Practical experience in coaching, developing and training junior national staff.
– Previous experience of coordinating approval of drilling, completion, intervention and well stimulation programmes in a well examination role.

SAFETY HEALTH OFFICER DRILLING / WELL SERVICES (ROTATION BASIS)
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide onsite HSE support to offshore OIMs and Supervisors of drilling rigs or well intervention crews to help ensure a safe working environment. Deliver planned HSE programmes.
– Train work crews in safe working behaviour. Monitor and analyse programmes performance. Investigate and report incidents.

1) Electricians – 2 positions
– Responsible for the Maintenance & Repair of all Electrical equipment / installation’s onboard.

– Inspect and test all electronic equipment installed onboard and take primary responsibility for the drilling systems.
– Ensure that the equipment is at all times in a safe and proper condition, in which complies with all current & future rules and regulations as rolled out, including regulatory bodies.
– Liaise directly with 3rd party contractors / suppliers as part of troubleshooting as and when required. Can work alone or as part of team environment. Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor on a daily basis.

3) Hydraulic Mechanic / Maintenance Engineer – 2 position
– Responsible for the Maintenance & Repair, but not limited to, The Drilling Equipment and all Hydraulic / Mechanical related equipment onboard the vessel.
– Assist with all Mechanical issues as they arise, including the installation of new equipment as and when such projects dictate.
– Assist with the training of personnel to make sure adequate maintenance is being conducted on the equipment within your remit. Can work alone or as part of team environment. Report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor on a daily basis.

Requirements:
– A recognized Degree in Electronic / Electro Mechanic / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
– Minimum 3 years working experience in Oil & Gas industry or equivalent with relevant certificates of competency and industry approved trainings.
– Excellent technical knowledge in industrial equipments, mechanical experience, including electromechanical, electronic and programmable equipment.
– Able to work on 28-28 days of rotation.
