Position Summary
Provide drilling engineering support for offshore drilling operations. Prepare drilling programs and communicate them to the rig site staff. Manage third party drilling service providers prior to mobilization to ensure execution readiness of the given work scope. Identify execution drilling risks and create suitable contingency plans.

During the Operations phase, manage and monitor the day-to-day offshore operations of the KBB Northern Hub facilities.

– Provide input to Planning and Cost group on annual project budget phasing activities for the COMPANY’s annual WPB submission to PMU.
– Serve as steward of the interface management plan by working with key personnel within the project team and other departments in the company such as Production, Drilling and other support groups in order to ensure interfaces are prioritized in order to achieve project objectives.
– Prepare and maintain a complete record system of all man—hours expended, change control, variations, weekly reports and progress management. Attend periodic meetings within the CONTRACTORS premises to ensure all targets and deadlines are met. Maintain a DOC, cost control and planning system for the measurement of progress against the COMPANY objectives for cost and planning.
– Co-ordinate input from the COMPANY during the FEED and detail design for all works carried out within the design office and or CONTRACTORs premises. Monitor CONTRACTOR’s performance and to advise Management for any progress delay.
– Work with the design team to produce a timely and high quality key design activity deliverables such as HAZOP, HAZID, DBM and other design reviews.

Qualification and Experience:

– Recognized Degree in any Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
– Have a minimum total of 15 years working experience in the relevant areas of project management or technical discipline.
– Have had previous involvement in facilities contract execution (engineering, fabrication, HUC) and prover‘: track record of
leading a team of multinational and multidiscipline.
– Experience in developing conceptual design, project economic appraisal, pre—FEED packaging and FEED/EPCIC supervision.
– Experience in both offshore and onshore facilities development.
– Strong understanding and appreciation towards Brownfield debottlenecking and rejuvenation works on existing production and processing facilities.
– Strong understanding and appreciation towards marginal oil & gas fields development.
– Strong understanding and appreciation towards project management. cost and schedule.

LEGAL MANAGER

The major duties of the job are as follows:
– Support the Commercial Manager with the legal review of contracts.
– Support the operational groups with the legal review of contracts.
– Manage outside counsel as necessary.
– Represent the company at various functions, seminars, and committees.
– Consider the legal impact of business decisions with regards to the Production Sharing Contracts.
– Responsible for all legal matters relating to Murphy‘s Malaysian operations.
– Manage companies insurance requirements.
– To ensure Murphy’s legal interests are protected in commercial negotiations.
– To ensure the Management Team is fully-briefed on the legal implications of business decisions.
– To ensure adequate legal review of contracts, agreements, and decisions.

Qualification and Experience:

– Licensed to practice law in Malaysia or other recognized jurisdiction.
– University degree Law.
– Minimum 10 years experience providing legal support in the upstream oil & gas industry.
– Experience drafting and negotiating major oil and gas contracts.
– Familiarity with Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements. and Sales Agreements.
– Familiar with the Malaysian upstream oil & gas industry.
– Fluent in oral & written English.
– Working knowledge with Microsoft Office.

SENIOR CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

The major duties of the job are as follows :
– Maintain good relationship with PETRONAS and partners.
– Oversee day-to-day CC activities.
– Initiate and plan CC activities — define goals, analyze problems and opportunities.
– Coordinate and manage company-wide and department-driven internal and external CC activities.
– Provide communications support towards crisis and issues management.
– Use corporate advertising to maintain organizations identity, name and reputation.
– Prepare and supervise the production of publicity brochures, posters, videos and photographs.
– Organize special events such as press conference, launches, visits, workshops etc.
– Develop and maintain good working relations with international, national and local media
(newspapers, magazines, radio and television).
– Write and edit press releases, in house newsletter, speeches and articles.

Qualifications and Experience :

– Degree in Mass Communications. Corporate Communications, Public Relations or Journalism.
– Minimum 10 years of CC experience — both agency and in-house a plus.
– Minimum 15 years overall working experience.
– Strong leadership skills, highly motivated and organized.
– A self-starter with ability to multi-task.
– Detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
– Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

CONCEPTUALIZATION ENGINEER

The major duties of the job are as follows:
– Strong conceptual and innovative thinking with technical, analytical and commercial business stalls.
– Deepwater production and subsea experience enabling evaluation and decisions of various enhancement opportunities.
– A strong understanding of Production Network Software (Prosper. GAR or equivalent).
– Proven leadership, personal relations. and communications skills are paramount for success. Inter-cultural awareness and team integration abilities are a requirement.
– The successful candidate will be a quick learner to understand the required processes, for example in procurement, as dictated either by the Regulator or Murphy policies.
– Good economic evaluation skills and organization skills are a must to be able to manage diverse teams with multiple priorities.
– Serve as a technical, production engineering lead to expeditiously deliver the solutions as part of the Kikeh IOR project,
incorporating facilities de bottlenecking and production engineering enhancements.
– Support the evaluation and optimization of all other deepwater opportunities through, if warranted, final investment decision stage gates and through project execution.
– Support the Deepwater Projects Optimization Manager and serve as a reliable stand-in when necessary.
– Liaise and maintain interfaces with Operations, Well Engineering, Drilling and Completions and all other support organizations to effectively prioritize activities and to ensure optimal use of resources.
– Follow all PETRONAS procurement and commercial guidelines to ensure 100% cost recovery for Deepwater Development activities.

Qualification and Experience:

– University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Petroleum, Process, Chemical, etc).
– Minimum 8 years experience in oil & gas industry.
– Previously worked production optimization projects
– Strong competency in all aspects of petroleum engineering, but specifically production engineering and subsea facilities.
– Exemplary written and spoken communication skills are a must.
– Expert in process and production optimization using computer software.
– Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
