1. Head, Credit Approval
– To lead and coach a team of Regional Credit Managers to ensure high standard credit quality of the portfolio by using various credit assessment tools so as to build a strong credit culture.
– To work closely with Business Units to provide value-add inputs and indirectly assist in upgrading the credit underwriting skills as well as inculcate good credit culture across the Bank.
– To approve credit facilities/requests as per approving authority granted and recommending credit proposals for higher levels of approving authorities.
– To work closely with Credit Risk Policy team to assist in the review and development of the Bank’s overall credit approval policies and guidelines.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Investment/Risk Management or related discipline.
– Possess Certified Credit Professional (Business) qualification from Institute of Banks Malaysia (IBBM).
– Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in credit evaluation (project and business financing).
– Good knowledge of a broad range of banking products, risk management tools and techniques.
