EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO MD SCOPE OF POSITION:

Primarily responsible for assisting the Group Managing Director (GMD) by performing a variety of management, coordination and administrative duties in the Office of the GMD. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor and handle day-to-day administrative matters of the GMD office:-
– Monitor operational matters including monitoring of deadlines and follow up on instructions issued
– Review documents, reports and proposals and provide recommendation for decision by GMD
– Ensure efficient deliverables are met by teams, departments, divisions in the organisation
– Assist the GMD to draft and communicate high level policies
– Assist and support the GMD in business interactions or meeting with clients
– Discreetly assist the GMD in confidential matters

2. Plan and carry out special/ad hoc projects assigned by the GMD:-
– Undertake special/ad hoc assignment, functions and related duties as and when necessary
– Work regularly with other team leaders on special/ad hoc projects commissioned by the GMD

Job Scope
– To promote, market and develop sales relationships for Labuan IBFC products and services.
– To identify and develop new channels or intermediaries for Labuan IBFC.
– To market and promote Labuan IBFC to international registered agents, trust companies, legal firms and private banks in ASEAN.

Required Profile
– A minimum of 10 years’ business development experience in finance and banking, product development, international banking, finance and insurance at a senior level
– Having strong experience in the industry with a proven track record in business development in other leading jurisdictions or international business and financial centers would be a major advantage.
– Sound technical knowledge and experience in any one or more of the following fields would be a distinct advantage:
– Trust
– Fiduciary services
– Private wealth management
– Investment banking
– Risk Management
– Recognized postgraduate qualification in international banking, finance, law, or wealth management with a strong undergraduate degree in a related discipline. A Master degree in a relevant field of study is preferred.
– Professional trust qualification (e.g. STEP Diploma) and other relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
